Cinemors provides a robust, developer-friendly API to deliver metadata, artwork references, credits, and search capabilities to eligible partners and projects. Access to our API is granted selectively to ensure fair use, data integrity, and system stability. If your project aligns with our data use principles and technical conditions, we will evaluate your request and, where appropriate, provide access under clearly defined terms and quotas.

Eligibility and Use Cases

API access is intended for applications that consume metadata for legitimate, non-infringing purposes such as media discovery apps, editorial services, academic research, archival projects, and product integrations for web and mobile platforms. We consider requests from independent developers, startups, academic institutions, and established businesses. Requests primarily intended to redistribute, re-sell, or republish our data as a standalone product will be reviewed for commercial licensing terms. All applicants must disclose intended usage, expected request volumes, and whether the integration will be public-facing or internal.

Request Process

To request API access, please send a detailed email toapi@cinemors.comincluding: (1) project name and website or application link; (2) a clear description of how Cinemors data will be used; (3) estimated monthly API requests and peak traffic expectations; (4) target platforms (web, iOS, Android, server-to-server, etc.); (5) any commercial or redistribution plans; and (6) a technical contact for follow-up. We will review requests, may request additional information, and respond with the terms of access, example rate limits, and any applicable usage restrictions. Approved access may be provided with API keys, usage quotas, and integration guidelines. Cinemors reserves the right to refuse or limit access to ensure platform stability and legal compliance.

Supported Platforms & Integration Guidance

Cinemors APIs are designed for broad platform compatibility and can be integrated into web applications, single-page applications, native mobile apps (iOS and Android), server-side applications, content management systems, and editorial workflows. We provide RESTful endpoints with JSON responses, pagination, localized content parameters, and media reference URLs optimized for CDN delivery. Integrators should cache responses responsibly, respect rate limits, authenticate requests using issued API keys, and follow secure storage practices for credentials. For high-volume or enterprise use, we offer tailored guidance on pagination strategies, bulk export procedures, and recommended caching layers to minimize latency and reduce load on our services.

Access Terms, Security and Support

Access is subject to our acceptable use policies, attribution requirements, and any applicable commercial or licensing conditions. API keys must be kept confidential and may be revoked in the event of misuse. We enforce rate limits and usage quotas to protect service availability; applicants with higher throughput needs should discuss enterprise arrangements.
